Worse yet, you may have recently noticed that some of the reports don't seem to be 100% accurate. They look pretty good over-all, but you just know that you entered a new record last week, and for some reason it does not show up on the report.

We are quite good at poking around under-the-hood of your current MS Access database and analyzing what we find. Most of the time, we find quite a few tings that are not up to our standards. And, when we explain these in detail to the customer, they tell us that what we pointed out is not up to their standards either.
Sometimes, the customer had no idea that things were this bad just beneath the surface. At times, they have not even noticed that the reports are not 100% accurate, based on the data entered. After all, this is hard to catch if there's a lot of data. But, we know what to look for and we can find it an explain to you in short order.
Eh-Oh - - !
So, can we fix that database that you are currently using? To be honest, probably not. It's probably not that sound structurally, and you need to start over form the beginning. (Click here for examples of bad structure.)
Does that mean that all of that data will need to be re-entered into a new application? Probably NOT...! Most of the time, we can salvage almost 100% of your current data, and funnel it into the new data structure. We have seen some cases in which this was just not possible. It depends on your current "data-design" structure, and just how bad it might be.
And, figuring this out takes a bit longer. We first have to understand what you need, so we can get the new data structure designed properly. Then, we have to really scrutinize the existing data to see how much of it we can salvage. But, the good news is that in most cases we can save over 90% of it.

Indeed, one of our greatest strengths is in re-designing a current database, into a new "application" (so much more than just a database) that will give you so much more functionality and ease of use. You will wonder why you didn't have us re-design it sooner!
